Terms & Conditions

  1. General
    The terms and conditions of trade of the Pass4me Driving School (hereafter called the company) are contained herein. Orders accepted are subject to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions will be the basis of all contracts with the company, unless otherwise specified by the company.

    These Terms and Conditions are correct on the date shown deposit invoice, however the company reserve the right to vary them without notice, An updated copy will be supplied to the client if applicable.

  2. Prices
    Unless otherwise stated, all prices are exclusive of VAT which is charged at the current rate at the time of payment.

  3. Health & Safety
    While training is being given either on the companies premises or at our external partners, all delegates must conform to and comply with the Health & Safety policy as laid down by the company, breaches of this policy may result in the delegate being suspended or excluded from the course and premises.

  4. Course Fees
    Course Fees are available on our website www.hgvtrainingglasgowuk.co.uk, To reserve a place there is a non refundable deposit of £200 that goes towards the total balance of the course fee, course fees can be paid by Cash, Debit, Credit cards and bank transfer

  5. Cancellations
    The company reserve the right to charge a cancellation charge in respect of a confirmed
    course

    Under the consumer contract regulations 2013, when a course is booked without face to face contact, the trainee may cancel a contract within & (seven) days of that contract being concluded this includes all monies paid including deposits (“cooling off period”), after the 7 (seven) days deposits are non refundable. Cancellations must be made in writing and sent by registered post to

    Any refunds that maybe due will be returned within 28 working days from receipt of the
    trainees request for refund

  6. Applicable Law
    Scottish law shall apply, and Scottish courts shall settle and disputes. These terms and conditions do not affect any statutory rights available to the client.

  7. Complaints
    Initially, any complaint(s) about course(s) should be directed to the instructor on the day in question, if the matter is not resolved, or you cannot discuss the matter with your instructor, the complaint should the be directed to the training manager, Again this must be on the day in question. No correspondence regarding complaints will be entered into
    after a course has been completed.

    The company will thoroughly investigate and complaint, whether informal or formal, relating to the day to day operation of the company and the standards of service we provide. Areas excluded are
    • Assessment Decisions or Examination results
    • Employment issues
    • Whistleblowing

  8. Other Terms and Conditions
    • Delegates must provide accurate and full information to the company ant all times
    • Delegates will be In possession of all necessary legal documents at all times whilst undertaking a course including but not limited to, a valid driving licence (where applicable)
    • It is the delegates responsibility to make sure their driving licence is valid, and the correct provisional entitlement has been added to their driving licence by the DVLA, Any student without the correct entitlement will legally not be permitted to train and all monies paid towards the course will be forfeited.
    • The student at the time of their theory or practical examination will have a form of acceptable photographic identification (Driving Licence) with them on the day, If the student fails to bring this there test wont go ahead and all monies paid will be forfeited.
    • Any motoring offences committed whilst under instruction or on your practical test will be your responsibility as a full driving licence holder, Where required we will pass on your details to the relevant authorities.
    • Any accidents incurred whilst under supervision or on test will be covered by our insurers, however we will name you as the driver at the time of the accident
    • Delegates are expected to be punctual at all course sessions
    • Consumption of Drugs and Alcohol is not permitted during training or prior to any training commencing, The company will refuse to train any delegate who infringes this condition and you will be required to leave the company premises. If a student is considered by the company to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time their course will be immediately terminated and all relevant fees forfeited, If a delegate is prescribed medication they should inform the company of the nature of the medication and any side affects, the company may seek assurances its safe to allow training to proceed. The decision of the company is final.
    • While attending and course the delegate will conduct them selves in a appropriate manner. The company reserve the right to terminate a course without notice, should the in their absolute discretion, decide that a trainee has acted or behaved inappropriately, included but not limited to, verbal and physical abuse towards Pass4me employee or DVSA.
    • Should it become necessary for the company to postpone all or part of a course or other work due to circumstances out with their control, a mutually agreeable date will be selected on which to complete the course/work, The company will not be responsible or liable for any costs incurred by the client for such actions.
    • Where external examinations have been arranged for the customer by the company, the company accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of the customer details should a dispute arise with the external
    • Theory test & Practical test booked by the company on behalf of the student will be subject to DVSA’s terms and conditions in relation to cancellations and/or refunds of any monies paid.
    • The company accepts no responsibility for theory or practical test cancellations
    • Should DVSA cancel a test ever effort will be made to re arrange the test for the student
    • In the even of a vehicle breakdown, the company will arrange the student to have further training to make up lost time at no additional cost to the student. No refund will be offered
    • The company accepts no liability or financial penalty (i.e. loss of wages, accommodation etc) In respect of mechanical breakdowns
    • The company accepts no responsibility for personal belonging or vehicles left at the company premises

By booking or leaving a deposit on a course with pass4me driving school the customer agrees to be bound by the above terms and conditions
