Driver CPC Training

Complete your required Driver CPC hours with flexible, straightforward training designed to keep you compliant and on the road.

If you’re a professional HGV or bus driver, you are legally required to complete 35 hours of Driver CPC training every 5 years to keep your Driver Qualification Card (DQC) valid.

This is known as Periodic CPC training and is essential to continue driving professionally.

What do you need to do?

To stay qualified, you must:

Complete 35 hours of approved CPC training
Spread the training over 5 years (or complete it in blocks)
Ensure your CPC is up to date to remain legally compliant

Flexible training to suit you

At HGV Training Glasgow, we offer flexible CPC courses that fit around your schedule. You can complete your training:

In single-day sessions (7 hours)
Or in blocks to suit your availability

All courses are designed to keep your knowledge current, covering relevant topics for both lorry and bus drivers.

Operator Licence Awareness Training (OLAT)

We also offer OLAT, a one-day course designed for Directors, Restricted Licence holders, and those involved in transport operations.

This course helps you understand your legal responsibilities when managing an operator licence and provides certification recognised by the Traffic Commissioner.

Once I passed my theory/hazard perception test, I the took my C1 training with Jordan, who made my driving experience a pleasure, Jordan was patient and made me feel at ease the whole time I was driving: advising on things I might change and letting me know when I had driven well etc, really relaxed me to the point of passing my test 1st time after 10hrs of lessons. I recently trained for a Class 1 license with Pass4me and managed to pass first time due to the great training I received. Best experience for driver training I've come across! 1st time pass on my class 1 with ease Tom top lad easy to get on with and plenty experience and Davey is brand new helped out a lot through the process. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of doing any sort of driver training to give the guys a call.
