About HGV Training Glasgow

HGV Training Glasgow is part of the Pass4Me Driving School, established in 2008 and trusted by drivers across Glasgow and the Central Belt of Scotland. Over the years, we've helped hundreds of people gain their HGV and LGV licences, whether they're starting from scratch or looking to upgrade and progress their driving career.

We specialise in delivering straightforward, high-quality training across a range of licences including C1, Category C (Class 2), and C+E (Class 1). Every course is tailored to the individual, ensuring you get the right level of support, guidance, and practical experience to pass your test with confidence.

Our instructors are experienced, friendly, and focused on helping you succeed. We understand that learning to drive larger vehicles can feel like a big step, which is why we keep the process simple, supportive, and structured from start to finish.

How we train, and why it is one-to-one

Every practical hour is one-to-one. Nobody sits in the back of the cab waiting for their turn, which is why our courses list a fixed number of in-vehicle hours — 12 for C1, 16 for Category C and Category D, 25 for C+E — rather than a number of days shared between learners. It also means the training can be paced around how much driving experience you already have.

Around 85% of our drivers pass first time, and the structure is a large part of that: medical, provisional entitlement, theory and case study are all dealt with before your driving days start, so the hours behind the wheel are spent driving rather than catching up on paperwork.

Based in Blochairn, training across the Central Belt

We operate from 130 Blochairn Road in Glasgow, close to the M8, and train drivers from across the city and a 60 mile radius including Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, Ayrshire, Stirling and Falkirk. Practical training uses real Glasgow roads, city junctions and motorway routes, because that is where the test and the job both happen.

More than a driving licence

Alongside vocational licences we deliver the qualifications that keep drivers and operators legal: Driver CPC periodic training, ADR for dangerous goods, Operator Licence Awareness Training and the Transport Manager CPC needed to name a professionally competent manager on a standard Operator's Licence. We also assist our drivers in obtaining full-time employment in the haulage industry once they qualify.
