ADR Training Glasgow
Become qualified to carry dangerous goods, with classroom-based ADR training in Glasgow.

ADR training in Glasgow starts at £496 for Core and Packages, with refresher courses from £300. Courses are classroom-based, include the course materials and the SQA exam, and qualify you to carry dangerous goods by road.
ADR training qualifies drivers to legally transport dangerous goods by road, everything from fuels and chemicals to industrial gases. It's a mandatory qualification if your job involves carrying goods classed as hazardous, and it's a valuable add-on even if it isn't required for your current role, as it opens the door to a wider range of driving work.
Our ADR courses are classroom-based and delivered in Glasgow, covering the regulations, classifications, and safety procedures you need to carry dangerous goods safely and legally. On successful completion, you'll sit the official exam through the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), the body responsible for issuing ADR qualifications in Scotland.
With an ADR qualification, you can:
- Transport dangerous goods classed under the 7 common ADR categories (flammable liquids, gases, corrosives, and more)
- Work across a wider range of haulage contracts, including fuel, chemical, and industrial goods transport
- Meet the legal requirement for drivers carrying notifiable quantities of dangerous goods
- Add a recognised, SQA-issued qualification to your driving CV

ADR is modular. Everyone starts with Core, then adds the modules that match the loads you will be carrying. If you are unsure, tell us what your employer or contract requires and we will confirm the right combination before you book.

How ADR courses are delivered and examined
Training is delivered in our Glasgow classroom, covering the ADR regulations, hazard classification, documentation, placarding, loading and unloading procedures, and what to do in an incident.
At the end of the course you sit the official examination through the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), the awarding body for ADR in Scotland. Once you pass, the ADR vocational training certificate is valid for five years, and a refresher course renews it.
Who ADR training is for
ADR is a legal requirement for drivers carrying notifiable quantities of dangerous goods — fuels, chemicals, gases, corrosives and similar loads. It is also worth holding even when your current role does not demand it, because it widens the range of haulage contracts you can work on.
ADR and Driver CPC together
ADR classroom days can count towards Driver CPC hours, so you can renew your Driver Qualification Card while gaining or refreshing the qualification. Ask us to confirm the CPC hours for the specific course you are booking.

Once I passed my theory/hazard perception test, I the took my C1 training with Jordan, who made my driving experience a pleasure, Jordan was patient and made me feel at ease the whole time I was driving: advising on things I might change and letting me know when I had driven well etc, really relaxed me to the point of passing my test 1st time after 10hrs of lessons. Very happy customer.
Brilliant service. David and Jordan were both excellent during intensive hours ahead of obtaining my C1 on my driving licence. Couldn't recommend them enough! Thanks very much guys
