Stirling and Forth Valley drivers reach our Glasgow base in around forty minutes on the M80. Local work spans distribution, agriculture, tourism coaches and timber and construction traffic heading north, so Category C, C+E and the passenger categories all get booked from this area.
Two very different kinds of driving on one doorstep
South of Stirling you have motorway distribution that behaves like the rest of the central belt. North and west you have gradients, laybys, single carriageways and weather that changes the job entirely. Drivers who train from here need to be comfortable with both, and the training reflects that rather than sticking to easy dual carriageway mileage.
The tourism angle nobody thinks about
Coach and minibus work around Stirling, the Trossachs and onward to the Highlands is genuinely seasonal employment for anyone with the right passenger entitlement. D1 at £995 covers minibuses up to sixteen passengers and Category D at £1,695 covers full buses and coaches, and both are booked from this area more than from Glasgow.

Agricultural and rural drivers
Plenty of people around Clackmannanshire and rural Stirlingshire have handled large vehicles on private land for years and have never held the entitlement to do it on the road. That experience helps, but the test rewards precision and observation rather than familiarity, and it is worth knowing that before the first lesson.

Yes. D1 minibus training is £995 and Category D bus training is £1,695, both including the medical, theory, materials, tuition and test.
Category C covers rigid vehicles. Much of the timber work uses articulated or heavy drawbar combinations, which needs C+E.
The D4 medical is included in our course prices and arranged as part of your booking, so you do not need to source it separately.
