CPC Module 4 is the practical demonstration for initial Driver CPC. Our Glasgow training and test package is £199, separate from the driving-licence course and periodic CPC days.

Book the practical demonstration, not another driving course

Module 4 is for drivers completing the initial professional qualification. It asks you to demonstrate safety knowledge at the vehicle rather than take another road drive. The published package includes training and the test for £199. If you have already been working as a professional driver and need to renew your qualification, the periodic Driver CPC course is a different booking. Tell us whether you are a new driver or returning to work so the correct route can be checked.

This page is for arranging the training and test. The linked Module 4 guide explains the assessment in more detail if you want to read before enquiring. Keeping the practical demonstration separate from Category C or C+E helps you see which stage you are booking and which price applies. A lorry driving test and a Driver CPC demonstration serve different purposes, even when both form part of your plan to start professional driving.

What the £199 package covers

The current Module 4 offer lists training and the test. Use £199 as the package price rather than treating it as an examiner-only fee or a periodic classroom day. When contacting us, mention any initial CPC stages already completed and the vehicle category you are working towards. If an employer is paying, include the company details and ask about direct invoicing. There is no need to choose a larger driving course simply because you need this final professional stage.

Our separate licence courses have their own prices and inclusions: Category C covers rigid-lorry training and C+E covers articulated and drawbar combinations. Ask us about the preparation you need and the timetable for your demonstration training and test when booking.

Safety tasks you prepare to demonstrate

Existing course information describes load security, vehicle safety checks and preventing illegal trafficking as Module 4 topics. You need to show how you would keep the vehicle, its load and other people safe. Preparation should therefore connect the explanation to the equipment rather than rely on memorised phrases. If you are unsure about a securing method or component, identify that during training so you can practise the relevant demonstration before assessment.

Daily walkaround checks are part of the safety knowledge described on the site. They connect the vehicle you are about to use with defects, load condition and the actions needed before a journey. The walkaround guide offers a useful revision routine, while the show-me, tell-me guide covers safety questions associated with the driving test. Ask the team about the Module 4 assessment arrangements and the preparation appropriate to your stage.

Check Module 2 and your next step before booking

For new professional drivers, the site explains initial Driver CPC as Module 2 case studies followed by the Module 4 practical demonstration. Tell the team whether you have passed the case study and whether your driving test has been completed or arranged. This gives a useful starting point for discussing the order of appointments. If your circumstances involve an exemption or an older qualification, have the current licence and qualification details checked rather than assume the new-driver route applies.

Use the enquiry form with your name, phone number, email and a short description of the stage you have reached. Mention CPC Module 4, your intended Category C, C+E or passenger route, and whether you are booking for yourself or an employer. Training is arranged from our Glasgow base at 130 Blochairn Road. Contact the team to confirm suitable dates and the practical arrangements before committing to travel or time away from work.

What Our Customers Say

Feedback from our learners

Once I passed my theory/hazard perception test, I the took my C1 training with Jordan, who made my driving experience a pleasure, Jordan was patient and made me feel at ease the whole time I was driving: advising on things I might change and letting me know when I had driven well etc, really relaxed me to the point of passing my test 1st time after 10hrs of lessons. Very happy customer.

I recently trained for a Class 1 licence with Pass4me and managed to pass first time due to the great training I received. Everyone was very helpful, helped me gain confidence, and made the training enjoyable with the daft patter. Highly recommend David and the rest of the team if you are looking to do HGV training!
