The road haulage route qualifies you to be the named transport manager on a standard goods operator licence. It focuses on goods vehicle drivers hours, tachograph compliance, load security, maintenance planning and the financial evidence an operator must show. The Glasgow course is £1,100 including the test.
What the haulage syllabus concentrates on
Everything in the haulage papers is written around a goods operation. You will spend significant time on EU and GB drivers hours rules, the difference between them, the working time regulations that sit on top, and how a manager evidences infringement checking rather than simply downloading data and filing it.

Best experience for driver training I've come across! 1st time pass on my class 1 with ease. Tom top lad easy to get on with and plenty experience and Davey is brand new helped out a lot through the process.
